BankAxept invoicing portal
BankAxept is the national payment system in Norway, used both physically and eventually digitally. It is an open system so that anyone that has the concession to operate a bank business in Norway can join the network. BankAksept has many customers that use their solution and payment system in their businesses.
The goal of this project is to improve and increase the efficiency of the internal invoicing process.

Background
At bankAksept, on the First few days of each month, invoices need to be created in order to be sent to BankAksept customers around Norway.
The process of creating the invoices was not efficient and had a high level of risk to do with a considerable chance of numeral mistakes. Since a big part of the company's revenue comes from that, it was highly important to increase efficiency and accuracy as well as decrease the risk of potential mistakes.
Understanding & mapping out the invoicing process
this project starts with understanding the context, and the problems the employees at bankAksept are facing when it comes to generating invoices and their needs.
In order to better overview the invoicing process, I had a couple of workshops with the employees to map out the invoicing process in detail.
We also explore what other functions they need to have besides invoicing that can make their job easier and more efficient.
