Understanding the ecosystem
Before getting deep into details, we as service designers are always interested in getting a clear view of the bigger picture and the ecosystem in which the services are provided earlier in the process.
As a result, here we mapped out the ecosystem the Living Lab is built on in order to use it further in the project.
Obos "Flexible home"
As the service designer in this project, our mandate was to use the Living Lab, get close to the residents, and explore different topics and experiments that might help us learn more about the future ways of homes.
In this scope "flexible home", The goal was actually to get a better understanding of the experience residents have while living the Living Lab, and their insights regarding the Partner's products their use.
Mapping out, Defining
Ideating new experiments and test
This was an iterative process where our focus is to learn through testing and experimenting. Now we have enough material and insight to be able to define the potential next experiments.
We presented to our client our idea for the next experiments and testing. We finally through a workshop came up with a few experiments that fit clients' interest, budget, and focus area!
Final Delivery
Our final delivery was a report where we document the process that we went through together with all the insights and information we got from residents throughout the process.
The report going to be used by the client for internal and external communication. We use visualization as a tool that helps clients read the report easier and communicate more effectively.
